RAILWAY DISASTER. P.OAIK, October II
A railway disaster occurred at Catenr.aro. It was the sequel to a disastrous storm and a series of cloudbursts which have ravaged Calabria and have Hooded wide areas, and destroyed many farmsteads. A train was proceeding by night through a heavy rainstorm and it was crossing the river Puiizu. when the trestles of the bridge collapsed. The lacomtive and the leading coach (lived into the cataract with the shrieking occupants, and they limited for one hundred yards before they sank.
