From same, approving of Board’s Ini la nee sheet.—Received. From 1). .McGill, asking for return. —Received. From Hospital Board Association in reference to annual conference. —Received. From same in releronce to immigration and urging greater care should he taken in refenicc to nominated persons being brought to New Zealand. Received. From, Government Statistician acknowledging quarterly return card.- Beeei vod. From New Zealand Railways in ivlerenee to overcharge on truck ol coal. Received. From -Marine Department- notilying that sand can he taken at (id and gravel at Id.—Received. From Cashmere Sanatorium in reference to patients.—Received. From Grey Hospital Board, inviting appointment ot two delegates, to confer with regard to appointment of a bacteriological laboratory for the West Coast.— Received ; no action taken. Front .Miss A. Front Surgeon Superintendent reporting patients in Hospital on September Ist were:—2ti males, 1-7 females. H; admitted during September 11 males, s females, 19; total treated A 7 males, 23 females, til); discharged cured 1-7 males. N females, 23; relieved ] male. 1 female, 2; died 3 males, total discharged 19 males, 9 females. 28 ; remaining ill hospital on September 311th. IN males. II females, 32. Received. Front Auditor General. Wellington returning balance sheet certified to with one exception, that interest earned from the loan .should have been paid into the loan reduction account instead of the building fund account. Received and adopted, the CIS 1.7 s referred to, to he transferred to the loan reduction account. The House Committee (per Air Davidson, Chairman) said there was very little to report, some small matters requiring attention. —Received and adopted. Accounts amounting to C-139 His Sd were passed for payment. The Treasurer reported receipts C-172 9s 2d. payments ClOfil 13s 2d. credit alliance C73ti Ids. Building account credit CIOI 19s 9(1. Received. It was resolved that the town members meet at a date to he called by the Chairman, to consider outstanding maintenance accounts. The Board 10-e at 9 p.m.
