Following a council here between Mr .lames Behan, leader of the cooperative contractors for the Coleridge tunnel, anil the rest of the party on Saturday morning, it was agreed to carry on the search for the Bodies of Green. MarFarlnnc and McDonald. An attempt will he made to cut into the slip. This will he a most dangerous proceeding, as thousands of tons of shingle are "alive" and shifting night and day. The timbering near the slipis moving with iho strain upon it. and Mr Behan and his mates are taking their lives in their hands in jiersisting in the search. At midn>ghf on Friday it was found unsafe to proceed with the cross drive, and tin- work was stopped. A new method of teaching the bodies will be commenced to-morrow. It icotisidered to be even more risky than the one abandoned on Friday, hilt it is the onlv wav left.
