AN INDUSTRIAL BILL. SYDNEY. Oet. S. In the New South Wales Assembly. Air Baddeley introduced the Arbitration Act Amendment Bill which provides p !• the audition of the Arbitration Court and the Board ol I fade, and instead provides for an industrial commission being appointed in their place. The Industrial Commission will consist til a chairman apointod by the ' Government, and meniliers appointed bv the employers and the employees. Conciliation Committees wilt also be appointed for each industry. The Bill provides for absolute preference to unionists. The Commission will fix the living wage twice yearly. The Day Baking Bill was read by the Assembly for the first time.
