MB SEDDON'S CAMPAIGN. (Special to “Guardian".) GKEYMOUITI. Oct. 9. Mr Scddon had a splendid meeting at Otira. The Chairman. Mr M. Fitzgerald, in introducing Mr Scddon. said the name if Scddon was well-known throughout the West Coast, and the candidate’s previous gool record as member for Westland was sufficient an introduet ion. Mr Scddon then spoke fully on the Nationalist platform and other matter-. of interest and answered a fusilade of questions. A hearty vote of thanks which was moved bv Mr I*. Bell ami seconded by M r .1. Wood was passed. To-night Mr Scddon addresses a meeting at Paroa. and to-morrow Totam Flat at 7 p.m. and \haura at B.fid p.m. MR YEITCII AT WANGANCI. He denied that the Liberal-Labour Party wanted to fuse with Reform, but it desired to form a new National Party from both -ides strong enough to legislate lor the good of the country. lie urged the need of the development of the country, especially the secondary industries and the raising of the s'taodard of living for the wage earners.
