Fitzgerald, in introducing Mr Scddon. said the name if Scddon was well-known throughout the West Coast, and the candidate’s previous gool record as member for Westland was sufficient an introduet ion. Mr Scddon then spoke fully on the Nationalist platform and other matter-. of interest and answered a fusilade of questions. A hearty vote of thanks which was moved bv Mr I*.
