WEDDING BELLS
TULLOCH —O'CONNOR. At nine o'clock on Wednesday mornign St. Mary's Church was the scene ! of a very stylish wedding, the contracting parties doing Kitty, the second daughter of Mrs Ji. and the la to Edward O'Connor, of Hokitika, and Norman WTieeldon, the youngest son of Mrs A. A. and the late Air W. G. Tulloch ot Moulcy, .Sydney. T lie bride, who was given away lay her brother. I’at, entered the Church to the strains of the Wedding -March played by Miss Ailceu Daly, looked charming in a french model frock of cyelnman accordion pleated silk georgette, trimmed with silk radium lace, with hat en suite and gold brocaded shoes to tone. Her sister. Miss Joe O’Connor, attended as bridesmaid, and was becomingly attired in a dainty frock of light apricot georgette with touches of french colouring and shoes of gold brocade. BofTi bride and bridesmaid earned exquisite bouquets of violets, anemones and irises. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Titus. Curley. Mr Melt O'Connur, brother of the bride, being groomsman. After the marriage ceremony, Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Bey. I)r Kennedy. The wedding break last was held at tlic residence of the bride’s mother, the Southland Hotel, the usual toasts being honoured. During the afternoon farewells mingled with many genuine regrets were taken by hosts of friends of the happy couple. In the evening Air and Mrs Tulloeh left by ear fur G rev moot I). en route for Wellington to catch the boat for Sydney, where tic honey moon will he ■•pent, their future home being Daylesfonl, Melbourne. The brides travelling -mite Was navy leppelotli. a chic little hat of tangerine and a set of grey skunk furs, (lie latter being the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaid was the recipient of a gold wristlet watch, the bride's gift to the bridegroom being a pocket wallet. The ponularily of the bride was evidenced by the numerous and costly presents, including many cheques, wiiti It were received. I'll Tuesday evening the bride-cleet was entertained by ilte hoarders, past .tinl present nl the Southland Hotel and presented with a beaut il til "Kaiapoi” travelling rug. The remarks ol the many speakers -bowed the high este.-iu in which she had always been held.
