The Stamp Duties Amendment Bill and the Native band Amendment Hill were eommiltod and read a third time and passed. ]u moving the enmmittal of the Native band Amendment Bill, the Prime Minister announced he intended io -ot up a Royal Commission to inves- , junto the Maori grievances with regard Io confiscated lands in Hie north.
