ing for invitations to her famous dinners anil parties. Through this she is able to tell her Apache friends where to make raids while the people attend her parties. Into her life comes Raoul de Gi'iimmit, a young statesman, high in tbe esteem of Ins fellows and in the duty to his country. Of all the old people her maid was the only one whom she kept near her. Why not marry Raoul!- No one would suspect that his wife was the Queen of the Apaches, suggests the maid. Finally Claire accepts, anil in her new life she realises the worth of her husband, anil gradually slips from her old life. DuLhil, a journalist, tells a fashionable gathering of flic girl who leads the Apaches, and who is to be seen at the Cafe Boule. In Claire's rooms Fernand confronts de (Toy. There is a struggle and Fernand is killed. A little later Raoul comes in, and de Croy tells him that he fired in protection of madame’s jewels. He is freed, and later Claire- finds happiness with her husband, in whom she confides everything. A superb supporting programme will be screened.
