Tin; meeting of the I’rogrexs League decided also to endeavour to do something about publicity for Westlnnd at the forthcoming Dunedin Exhibition. A proposal has been put forward to distribute a few thousand booklets during the period of the great shew to advertise tile district, t' nfori ititafely the League is without Ibe funds to endeavour to organise a scheme whereby something in that direction can be done a- well as prepare, also, a large number of enlarge 1 photographs for display in the Tourist. -Court. The proposal is a step in tile right dire - lion and should result in some attention being attracted to the district. The propc.-.cd reprini of the booklet “A Holiday in Westland." will bring that- pleasing issue well up-to-date. The views are to be revised and some changes effected while the coloured reproduction of a. w ater-'-oloi- view of a Westland scene will le a special fenture. The booklet in question is one of the best if its kind which has been issued and the circulation cl' a few thousand ropice to oversea visitors at tin- Exhibition i-.- sure t-i attract many extra loiiris-.s to Wi -Hand during their siav in the D-onimnn.
