SUPREME COURT.

GREV.MOUTII, September 21. At the Supreme Court William J. Morris of Reefton was found not guilty on the charge of fraudulent misrepresentation and false pretences in connection with a claim against an insurance company.

John McLean, who pleaded guilty in the lower court in July to unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under fifteen years of age at Reefton was .sentenced to two years’ hard labour. IN DIVORCE.

Phyllis Isemia Shepherd v. Norman Shepherd—application lor divorce. Mr E. A. Kitchingham appeared for petitioner and Mr I. Patterson for defendant.—The application was referred to the Registrar for report.
