A fairly large yarding, comprising about 17(1 head, including several consignments from the North Island. The quality throughout was verv irregular and apart from the North Island consignments, included set oral good lilies of local station steers. The market opened on a lower level than last week, especially on shipped and plain cattle, but as tar as good quality was concerned in the local there was little if ally liili'eienee.
