Fifty French aeroplanes rained bombs on Tetuan for four hours, spreading terror among Abdel Krim’s forces. Heavy fighting occurred at Tssmtla. a fortified post dominating the region southeast of Ouezzan. The RifTs have penetrated to the outskirts of Ouezzan. Attacks on Jerelelnakim wore repulsed. The Spanish fleet is preparing to land twelve thousand troops at Ah liuecmns.

Advices from Taugiors state the astute Abdel Krim lias again outwitted his European enemies by launching surprise and determined attacks on two fronts and apparently he has ioreed the Frnnco-Spanish allies to accept the one thing they were most anxious to avoid, namely, the maintenance of large armies in .Morocco throughout the winter and the necessity of a new campaign in 1920.
