The Naval Defence vote ot £44 1.21.) was also challenged, an attempt being made by Labour to reduce it by £2ntV 000. which failed by 34 to 13. The vote was passed after a lengthy debate and several divisions.
The vote of £124.270 for the Marine Department was agreed to.
The Labour Department’s vote of C-10,213 xvas passed after a spirited debate lasting several hours. The State Eire Department vote of L.TO.-1.V2, was passed without discussion. The House rose at 7.12 a.m. till 2..'id on Tuesdav.
