After drifting for seme time she is now anchoring. The Karnmu’s engine-room is Hooded and she lias no wireless. The Kekeraugu wireless is working badly. The steamers Kanna and Bar a ,-ah left Hobart late lasi nigbt. and are going at full sliced to the scene ol the mishap. The position of the Karamu with a crow of twenty-five is regarded as serious. It is thought in some quarters that her heavy dead cargo caused her to strain and open her seams. Both vessels lost one anchor. The weather is improving.
