The Second Hokitika Troop and Pack celebrate their second ‘•birthday” towards the end of this month and the occasion promises to he quite an event if the plans in preparation are earned out. • .11 Local Scouts may he interested to hear that the late Scoutmaster of the first Troop reports that Ids present troop at Aharon has had a very suerosslul concert- recently when the dramatic effort entitled ■■Jane” which was received with such enthusiasm at Hokitika Scout Hi splay nearly two voars ago, again brought the house down when given by the Aharon hoys before an audience of 250. A party from the Akaroa Troop will attend the Jamboree. An important meeting of the Second Troop Committee will take place next Tuesday, September Bth.
