Mason and Packard (New Zealand railway experts') have completed an extensive tour of the British Isles, and are much impressed, by British operating methods, many of which they consider are applicable to New Zealand, especially those relating to night travel. MISSING EGYPTIAN PRINCE. LONDON. Sept. 1. The police are actively searching I for the missing Prince. He is believed to have crossed the Channel to Boulogne. A hooking office employee at Hastings refused to issue a ticket lo a bearded foreigner, and it is surmised he obtained a ticket through a second person, and boarded the steam,l with the crowd. I"'° attendants from the institution who accompanied the Prince are also missing.
