Patrick Malone. who niortlgnges I)is factory to get money to carry on his experiments on a motor fire-truck which he is perfecting. He and his (laughter. Jerry Malone, are the only one in Burbridge who believe in the fire-truck, with one exception— Joseph Pickens, the richest and the meanest man in (he community. Pickens lights him at every turn and the most thrilling commercial struggle ensues which lias been seen in motion pictures for a long time.
