Cyril Galley, aged 20, an engineer on a Government motor launch was shot dead. The tragedy occurred while a dam-e was in progress. Cidlev was dancing, when a single woman, Audrey Jacob, aged twenty, .talked up to him. saying: "I've got you!" She drew a revolver and shot him dead.
