As a result of an altercation in tho fire brigade station lietween Superintendent Tait and Demey. a member of the brigade, followed by an alleged assault by the former, an enquiry was held by the Couneil’s lirigade Committee who siis|>ended the Superintendent. It is understood the matter will find its wav into the courts.
