Samuel Rattray for forgery and uttering received twelve months’ reformative detention. Frederick Chilcui Pe+c.r Xorborg. found guilty of theft Horn the person, sentence was deferred. GISBORNE SESSIONS. GISBORNE. Aug. 26. At the Supreme Court. Frederick Fileott. for theft of £75 sterling from a drunken native, was sentenced to eighteen months hard labour. Peter Alorley. in connection with the same crime, wa.s recommended by the jurv to receive lenient treatment on account of ill health, and was ordered to come up for sentence within two years.
