[Australia & N.Z. Cable Association. 1 LONDON. August 21. There is much, speculation already regarding the eiuuposit ion of England s test team to play the Australians on their coming visit. The critics are pracliealy unanimous that there is richer talent available now than there was previously. Many of the younger players have won prominence. U is extreuielv unlikely that (iilligau will captain England in the tests. the general vice, is that he is not an England rep player when there is a greater number of men more dependable and with equal claims. Ii is praefiealv certain that he will he replaced by - Carr, whose season's performances are good. The chief speculation concerns the howler who is to support late, tint the critics are not agreed on this point. 1 fcndreit, AYoollcy and Kilnor are Mill favoured, the latter two as support bow I ITS. It is agreed that llicue is lavish halting strength, hut the critics arc unable to name another howler as good as Tate, though MaoAulcy’s name frequently crops up.
