The application of North Otago Association for a part refund of the guarantee given in respect of the Victorian team’s tour was refused. Otago Association was granted a refund of £25. The financial statement for the year showed the receipts to have been C 1.814 os. and the expenditure £1(120 Ills 7(1. The Council has a credit of £1.595 lOs 7d. \\Tth regard to the team to go to Australia in November, it was decided to recommend to the selectors that Bl players lie sent, with a manager. The players will not receive an allowance other than for loss of wages, with a maximum of £3 10s per week. Air J. F. Peake was appointed manager. .Messrs A. F. Williams (Otago). AT. Si. Brice (Wellington), N. C. Seddon (Auckland). AY. R. Patrick (Canterbury), and E. I{. Caygill (.Management Committee, Chairman) were appointed selectors. The team will lie selected in Christchurch almiit the end of October, and will leave for Sydin on November 19tli. LATEST LEADING AVERAGES. LONDON, August 23.
