— On Cass Square to-morrow afternoon the Kiwi Club will have three teams in the field, third-grade against School at 1.30 p.m. juniors against Kaiiieri. and seniors against Excelsiors at 3 p.m. The contests should prove interesting in each instance. Two of the Duller players selected |',,r the Combined West Const-Bullcr team to play New South AVales representatives here next Wednesday. Ford (lock) and Griffiths (emergency five-eighths) are unable to join the team. The selectors (Alessrs Adams and ITnnsby) have consequently agreed that an experienced lock is necessary, and consequently Bannister (Hokitika) has been chosen for the position. Baird (Bullet) will now be- the emergency back in place of Griffiths. There will be no curtain raiser fo the New South Wales match next Wednesday. the report that the Grey and Westland junior reps were to play on that day being erroneous. Their game will he the curtain raiser to the Hawkcs Dnv match on September 2Gth.
