ROSS FIRE BRIGADE BALL
A most enjoyable function was the Jloss Volunteer Eire Brigade Bali which eventuated in the Totara Hall on Tuesday evening. The energy and ability of the organising committee was amply displayed by the efficacy ol the arrangements and the unquestionable success of the bull. The building Wits tastefully decorated in black and red streamers and greenery v.hieit lent a festive atmosphere to the building. Mr Eratik Eellows discharged the office of Master ol (.eremojites with merit ami Lawn's Orchestra, from Hokitika provided an exclusive programme of spirited music. Catrons irom both local and neighbouring districts made up a record attendance and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy tkeniselvcs. A delight lid -upper was served at mid-night. Dancing continued far into the small hours ol the morning.
