Australian—Salted finest, ]9os to 1925. up to 194 s per cwt (Is BRI to Is B.LI per lb); unsalted 192 s to 196 s pel cwt (ts 8.01 to Is 8:Id per lb); other qualities, salted, 172 s to 188 s per cwt (Is 61 d to Is 8d per lb), unsalted, 180 s to 190 s per cwt (Is 7\ to Is B.',d per lb). Argentine Finest, 182 sto 188 s per ewt (Ls 7jd to Ls 8d per lb); other qualities, 176 s to 180 s per ewt (ls C]d to Is 7',d per lb). •Siberian —l7O s 180 s per ewt (ls 6]d to ls 7ff cl per lb). Danish 206 sto 208 s per cwt (Ls 9jd to Is lOd per lb). CHEESE. The market is steady. Official quotations are: English —Finest farmers 126 s to 130 s per cwt (Is ltd to Is 2d per lb). Canadian—Coloured (firm) 108 s per ewt (Hid per lb); exceptional up to 110 s per cwt (113 cl per lb); white 108 s to 110 s per cwt (1101 to IPJd ]>er lb). New Zealand Coloured, 108 sto 110 s per cwt (LI. jd to 11 Jd per lb); white 109 s to 110 s per ewt (ll]d per lb). Australian—Coloured, !00s per cwt (Il.id per lb); white 108 s per ewt (iljd per Ih). It is estimated that stocks of cheese on hand on August 1 at London, Liverpool and Bristol were: Canadian and American. 203.700 boxes; New Zealand and Australian 41, 150 crates against 112,500 and 05.000 same time last year. A shipment of New Zealand ] reduce arrived this neck per s.s. Rotorua. HEMP. The .Manila market is dull and lower “ff” grade Augusl-October shipments are quoted at £45 10s value.
