TORPEDO OUT OF CONTROL.
LONDON, Juno 15. During torpedo tests :>t Weymouth Hay yesterday a torpedo developed gyroscope trouble mid getting out of its course, crashed ashore under the Nothe fort, frightening many visitors, including a young honeymoon couple who were taking .snapshots. The woman had to receive tnedieal attention. The torpedo was badly smashed. Two days ago a torpedo wliicli out out of control suddenly apipeared among a number of yachts during a race, one being nearly torpedoed.
