Kent won by six wickots.
Lancashire in their first innings made 320 (Hallows 70. Makepeace 00) and in the second innings 71 for 0 (Txilner taking 5 for 14) against Yorkshire. first 277 (Sul c liff- 02. Lev!amt not out 30) Kibbles taking 4 for 00. The match was drawn.
