ADVISORY TRUSTEES FOR THE LARGE ESTATES

A business man may have obeyed an impulse to examine the claims of the Public Trustee to perform efficiently the duties of Executor and Trustee. He may by careful inquiry have satisfied himself that the long and wide experience of the Office which has the State Guarantee of fidelity offers the best possible undertaking that his family's welfare will be in safe hands after his death. The nature of 'his assets may bo such, however, as to make him desire, as an additional .safeguard, that in administering his estate his Executor and Trustee should obtain the advice of some friend who has an intimate knowledge of his affairs. and in whose judgment lu> has every confidence. The provision in the Public Trust Office Act permitting of the appointment of private advisory Trustees to act with the Public Trustee exactly meets such a state of affairs. In such.case the Trust property vests solely in the Public Trustee, and he sole management and administration. but he may consult the advisory Trustees and they are at liberty to tender him their advice. Whatever may be the circumstances, the Public 'I rustee is in a’position to render advantageous services.
