Arising out of an arrangement made with the Fiji Government to accept at their well-appointed leper station at Makogai the lepers from Xew Zealand, the Xew Zealand Government steamer, Hinemoa. will convey the lepers at an early date to their new home. All appeal is being made to the public to -end with the Hinemoa for the leper station illustrated magazines and other small gifts which are greatly appreciated by the lepers. The Railway Department will accept such parcels at any station and convey them free of charge to the port of departure. The ; parcels should he addressed for the North Island. “The Secretary f° r External Affairs. ’Wellington,” and for the South Island, “The Captain, X.Z. G. S. Hinemoa. Lyttelton.” and should he plainly marked “Parcels for Makogai lepers.” Parcels will be accepted up to August 10th., 1925.
