Middlesex first innings IST, second 1 19 for -l (Stevens 60). Tito match was drawn.
Sussex in the first innings madj 218, (Cook, 55. Cox OL Bridges 5 for 89) and in the second 107 for 8 and declared. (White 0 for -13). Somerset, first innings 158 (Macßrynn 80, Tate 7 for 75) and second 07 for 3. The match was drawn.
For Warwick against Lancashire Calthorpe made 171. The match was drawn.
For Northants against Glamorgan Jttpp in the first innings took 7 for 31. including the hat trick, and in the second took 8 lor 18.
For Glamorgan Mercer took 5 lor 31. and Ryan 5 for 51 in the first, innings and Spence took t buHl3 in the second. Northants won.
For Hampshire against lion-ester Mend made 213 not out. For AA arrester Root took 8 for 105. The mate!) was drawn.
For Gloucester against Essex. Dipper made 107 and Barker took 9 for -I I in the first innings and 8 lor 12 in tlio second. Gloucester won.
For Notts against Derby. Why si 1 made 140. The match was drawn. Rain interfered with play everywhere and most of the matches had to lie abandoned.
