WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. At the monthly meeting of the W.C.R.U. at Greymouth last evening a letter was received from the New Zealand Rugby Union, appointing Mr J. Tilady (Westport) as referee for the match combined West Coast-Buller v. New South Males at Greymouth on August 2(jtli. It wits resolved to accept the New Zealand Union’s terms for the N.S.W. lour, as laid down by that body. It was resolved to guarantee the South Canterbury Rugby Union £4O for a match to take place at Hokitika, tho final arrangements to he left for the President and Secretary to make with ’ the Westland Sub-Union. It was reported that while at Invercargill. Mr A. Adams had learned that Nepia and Mills will accompany tile Hawke's Bay team on their visit to the Coast, for a match at Greymouth on September 2(Jtfi. It was resolved that the distribution of the New Zealand Rugby Union schools’ football grant he left in the hands of the secretary of the schools football committee, Mr (). Williams.
