DRUNK ON THE DOLE.
LONDON, April 27. Several men charged at Glasgow qn Saturday with disorderly conduct- wliile under the inHtienee of drink admitted being in receipt of the dole. Knob man had received ISs on the previous day. and at night one man. had only about 8d loft-. A woman suing her husband for desertion at Willesdon no Saturday said -he had received a letter from him in which he said: “I’ve not tried for work, and don’t intend to. as I get the dole and my Army pension. I've hopes of going hawking for tho slimmer.
