At its meeting on Friday, the Buildings Committee reported:— Kokatai.i Lower.—ft was decided to accede tr> the Committee's request for payment of an account of £2l 10s for clearing a portion of the school grounds of noxious weeds. Oktiru—The Committee applied lor dot) trees for shelter purposes and it was decided to make a grant of £2 towards the purchase of trees. Wait aha—lt was resolved to instruct the Foreman to: (I) Henew the flooring and foundations of the school n raiulab; (2) to repair the tank and piping: CM to provide a new wash-hand basin. Woodstock—A report was received front Messrs Bignell and Wild in connection with the Committee’s application for the provision of a teacher’s residence. The report stated that after investigating the position an application for the erection of a teacher’s residence could not be recommended. The report was adopted.
