The Referees Asoeiation recommended referees for Saturday as follows: SENIORS. Kiwi v Excelsiors, at 3 p.m., Mr AY. Williams. JUNIORS. Ross v. Excelsiors at 3 p.tn.. Air E. W. Hecnan. Kanieri v. Kokatahi. Afr C. Gavlor. THIRD GRADE. Kiwis v. School at 1.30 p.m., Mr A. Sumner. Report received and adopted. Prom M’oodstoek Football Chib, applying for a football.—-Received and request granted. From S. A.t don applying for reclassification as a junior. -Received; application refused. From West Coast Rugby Union in regard to the* appeal of Frank Ford.— Received and action of .Secretary approved. From Kokatahi Football Club in reference to their match with Kiwis and fill tire engagements. --Received. It was resolved that portion of the letter referring to the match be forwarded to the referee for his explanation. Crusidera t ion of a request, by the Referees Association on the recommendation was adjourned for a week to avn.it a farther report by the referee (Air W. A. AVilson).
It was resolved to postpone the junior fixture Kiwis v. Kumarn from next Saturday until the end of the second round.
Advice having heen received to-day intimating that the Westport Pirates Club junior team were arriving at Hokitika on Friday evening to play Westland junior representatives on Saturday a meeting of the .SubUnion will be held this evening si t 7.30 o’clock to arrange for the. game which will mean the postponing of the junior fixtures net down for Saturday.
