Flayed by a notable east of screen performers, most of whom won enviable reputations on the stage. The. "William Fox screen version of “The Blunderer,” from the story by |{oy Norton, promises to be uni'iue among film spectacles, Frank .Mayo has the principal role, with Evelyn Brent. Tom Saintschi, James .Mason. Peggy Siiuv, Edward Phillips and Dan Mason. The story deals with a romance of the old mining days; and i< replete with incidents of intrigue and fa.-T action. A hooded mine, realistic lights and similar action are >a,id 10 combine to make every foot of the film twelve inches of celluloid excitement. The supporting pictures include a further chapter of “hi the Days of Daniel Boone," and a two iccl Sunshine comedy.

Cardini came out from England specially for the Tivoli circuit, and then joined Fuller's circuit, on which he remains at present, the Coast being lucky to have his biiief visit, owing to his engagements permitting it. Cardini was shell-shocked in the war and had to put- in a couple of years in his lied, where, hy constant practice, lie mastered card manipulations as few have over done. For instance, he does tricks while wearing gloVes that no ordinary person could dn without gloves. He has created a sensation in the centres, and can show many “wrinkles’’ no previous card trickster has ever performed. Elis net is most unique.
