The Judge at, the Dayton trial agreed to accept affidavits giving an outline of the scientific evidence on evolution for the purpose of completing tile record ol the ease on an appeal to the Higher Court. The Judge wanted Scopes to have his picture taken with Bryan on one side, and' Harrow on the other, hut Harrow sourly declined. WHEN AMERICA GETS HIT. WASHINGTON, July 18. Representatives of the American Rubber Association waited on Mr Kellogg, asking him to intervene wifk the British Government to end London’s monopoly anil the rapid increase in rubber prices. Mr Kellogg held out little hope, being able to do anything.
