FIFTY YEARS OF SUCCESS The Public. Trust Office now looks back on more than fifty years of success. The need of protection of the beneficiaries in private estates called tor the establishment of the Stateguaranloed Office in 18i2, and the enterprise has proved a boon to many thousands of people. The demand for this safe service has so grown among ail sections of the population that the Public Trustee is now represented in one hundred and six districts. The number of wills held on deposit on belialt of living persons now exceeds 44.000 and the aggregate is increasing at the rate of 400 a month. The balances held at the credit of estates and funds at 31st- March, 1925. amounted to £20.864,356 (an increase of over £8,000.000 since the year 1920.) The total value, of assets nnd funds under administration by the office was £35.570.642 at 31st 'March. 1925. These are striking figures of progress, indicating the people's confidence.
