Alexander Ferguson, aged received a cable from relatives in Ayrshire, Scotland, that bis bachelor uncle in Australia. Donald Ferguson, had bequeathed him lilt y thousand dollars, eonditoinnlly on his marrying. Alexander was seriously wounded in the war. and came to Canada in April. He had no friends, and little money. Since then he has walked from place to place, unsuccessfully seeking employment, until the news came. 11<- declares be will settle in Canada, ami take time to choose his wife.
