THEFTS AT KAITANGATA
DUNEDIN. July P. A young miner, named David Louis Armour Michie, employed at Kaitangata. pleaded guilty before J. R. Ilartholmew, S.M.. to a series of charges of breaking and entering and theft. The premises concerned were those of McGruer, Taylor and Co., the amount represented being Col 17s. But, for the confession of the accused, it was admitted that his connection would have been difficult, and, pleading guilty, he was remanded for sentence, bail being in £2OO and two sureties of £IOO on one charge, and on two other charges in self of £IOO on each.
