The Disputes Committee of the Transport Group together with the delegates from the Federated Afarino Unions, with the Alinister of Labour, conferred in an effort to settle the ALorts Dock dispute and decided to send a delegation to Air Lang on Wednesday with a view to securing a conference with the management of bulb sides. It is stated they are hopeful of a settlement. SYDNEY. July 7. A full new fur the Ksperaneo Bay have signed on. Air Lang (N'.S.AY. 'Premier) is conferring with the Unions concerned, in the Aloris duck dispute in an effort to settle the dispute. The Transports’ Union Group are also considering this matter. The Union Steamship Company have denied the statement that they would insert the guarantee clause in their articles, stating that the matter will be dealt with by the Steamship Owners Association.

The latter Association met to-day at .MoUtourne, and debated the action of the Commonwealth Lino in its agreement to a settlement, after, allegedly, first drawing the private owners into the fight in the joint action for tlio Seamen’s Union’s deregistration. It is expected that a decision will be readied to-day. AIELBOURNE, July 7. The Steamship Owners’ Association announced at the conclusion of their meeting, that the agreement between the Commonwealth line and the Transport Group has not affected their Association’s policy.
