ELECTION UK I’ROIHfEHS" REPRESENTATIVES. An advertisement appears in our advertising columns dealing with, the election of three producers' represeiialives on the New Zealand Meal Producers Hoard. The regulations under which the election i.s conducted provide that the various districts shall elect twenty-live delegates who will constitute an electoral Committee which will assemble in August and elect the producers’ represeii tat i ves. In view of the requests fn.ni producers and to promote further interest in tile election, the Hoard has reduced the size of the various electoral Districts, so that this year there are ten districts instead of six as was the easelast year. This will result in the candidates being known by a greater proportion of the electors of the district. The number of delegates and the boundaries of the various districts are set out in the advertisement. The latest oflicinl sheep returns (which at present are those at .tilth April. 1921) shall he the electoral roll. Every sheenownor on l his list having one hundred sheen or over shall he entitled to vote for delegates to the electoral Committee.

Nominations for delegates on the Electoral Committee or for producers’ representatives inav he made bv any two sheep-fanners appearing on the official sheep returns as owning not less than one hundred sheep. forms of nominations are obtainable at the Board's Office, "Wellington.

Nominations for delegates to the Electoral Committee will he received at the Hoard’s office, Wellington, up to noon oil the 10th July. 1925. whilst nominations for producers’ representatives on the Hoard will he up to noon on the filth August, 1925. |„ accordance with the provisions of the Meat Export Control Act. the members of the Hoard who are to retire in August, are Messrs .1. C. N. Grigg, l.ongbeach; J. S. Jessep, \\ ai-roa'-'aiul AY. Perry, Masterton. Those gentlemen offer themselves for re-elec-tion as producers’ representatives on the Hoard.
