SV TELEGRAPH —-PRESS ASSN’., COPYRIGHT. THE COUNCIL. WELLINGTON. June 30. The Legislative Council met at 11 a.in. to-day. Leave of absence was granted to Sii Janies Carroll for one month on account of illness: to Hon hew for two months during his absence at Honolulu. and to Hon McGregor for ten days on account of illness. The Imprest Supply Bill was put through all stages and passed. The Leader of the C wncil (Sir F. Bell) made a statement placing on record the recent Ministerial changes. The Council adjourned at 11.30 a.in. until 2.30 p.m.
