Mcilialneopoulos refused to resign until Admiral Hadjikyraikos shelled the presidential palace and aeroplanes dropped Pangaloss’ proclamation declaring the revolution successful throughout the country. l-ÜBUC QUITE UNMOVED. ATHENS, June 20. General l’angalos has definitely assumed the Premiership of Greece, following on ins resolution. He hopes to form a Cabinet wherein he will also be .Minister of War.
The public were strangely unmoved by the dramatic events of the day, wins'll moved with astonishing rapidity and secrecy. General Pangalos issued a manifesto saying be was merely carrying out tbc wishes of the people, who demanded the redemption and purification of Greece. The situation is now most calm. The casualties caused by the revolution number two killed and twenty wounded. Michalacapoulos refused to resign until Admiral Hadjokyraikos shelled the presidential palace. Aeroplanes dropped Pangalos’s proclamation declaring the revolution sneccssfu! throughout the country.
