Tito flood waters of the Lachlan have arrived at Forbes, completely surrounding the town, but as tho result of the- earlv warnings, there was no danger to life and a minimum damage to property is expected. The town is completely isolated by r ond. and almost all the telegraph and telephone lines are down. The damage in tho Hawkeshurv district is estimated nt £IOO.OOO.
