The inquest touching the death of Carl Olsett, aged 39. and Mary Eileen Moors, aged I I, of Horotui, Hamilton, who were found dead with gunshot wounds at Lake Rotoma. on May -Itit, was continued 10-dnv.

Evidence was given that the girl Moors went to live with an aunt in Hastings in April. Olsen, who lived with the girl’s parents, left Horotui by car on May Ist. Two days later, advice was received 1 lint the girl iiad left her aunt's home. The deceased Olsen, had been worrying over a motor car accident which occurred at Horottti on April Ist, when two people in the ear driven by Olsen were killed. Du May llh, a workman assisted deceased to extricate their on the beach of Lake Rototna. A few minutes later shots were heat'd, and both deceased were found dead near the car. Olsen was Tint in the mouth, and the gitl Moors in the breast. A shortened shotgun was • found in Olsen's bauds.

A medical opinion was given I hat the girl had not been tampered with. The jury returned a verdict that the girl .Moors was shot by Olsen, who then shot himself.
