Air Ley. the late .Minister of Justice, had signed an order tor the release from gaol <d Leonard l’nddifoot (a young immigrant convicted in ■[()•_>;! of the murder of a little hoy), and that arrangements had been completed for I’nddifoot’s deportation by the •■Diogenes” to-day. Air AlcKel! immediately cancelled the release order, and sent Puddifoot hack to gaol to complete his sentence.
