The Art Union promoted by the Canterbury Cricket and Tennis Association was drawn to-night, the first six prizes lieing won as follows;- - £IOOO —F. Sand ford. Christchurch. 503—). Aitehison, Hamilton. 200 -P. Ma uglier. Christchurch. 100— M. G. Hendry. Taupo. 100—C. 11. Cooper. Annul. (00— N. Jameson, Auckland. There were 180 other prizes ranging from £SO to .£5. The art union netted about £91)00 to each association. The tennis body will devote its share to equipping AYilding Park and the cricket l>ody to providing coaches.
