»ÜBIBAI,IAN AND N.Z. OABLB ASSOCIATION. A PRISON ESCAPEE. SYDNEY, June 22. At Darlinghurst Sessions, Terence O’Connor, aged 20, was sentenced to three years’ gaol on a charge of theft. The police stated O’Connor was an escapee from Wellington gaol, but, although the New Zealand authorities desired his deportation, they were not prepared to pay for extradition.
