ACCIDENT DAMAGES AWADDED. HAMILTON. -June 13. At the Supreme Court V\ illium McDermott. a young man, claimed damages from Winstone's Koriing and Ido Works at Ta.iimartinui for the loss of his lingers owing to being caught in the machinery at defendant s mill. He was awarded £199 special and £550 general damages.
TWO YEARS’ PROBATION. GISBORNE. June 18. -\t the Supreme Court Norman Charles Poetic, a postal official, on ■■ charge of theft front postal packets was admitted to probation for two years.
