It is very exasperating to be surrounded (>,v such a wonder world of theatres, operas, libraries, and art galleries and nut he able to come and go freely. but vet I feel that my first duty is to concentrate on the treatment and lay everything else aside. Hence, 1 have seen very few people and am straining every nerve to out my stay hero as short as possible. 1 wanted i to sail on May *JO, but T may wait until later than that, as T do not like to arrive hark in New Zealand without showing some substantial im-I provoment. I am sure that will come in time, hut I have had only six weeks so far to clean up a trouble that has been running for nine years. My doctor is very optimistic and T have entire confidence in him. The only problem is lime much time I can spare for treatment. As you know New York so well it is needless for me to enlarge on its many interests, hut I will lock forward to talking over with you many things on ray return."
